The end of the year is always a busy time, but don’t forget to apply for the next class of ScaleUP! Kansas City – especially if you want to take your small business to new heights in 2018.

The application deadline is Dec. 6 for the ScaleUP! class that will begin meeting at the end of January. Over the course of four months, selected business owners will be exposed to training, coaching and roundtable sessions designed to help them rapidly grow their companies.

To be accepted into ScaleUP! Kansas City, an applicant must lead a business that has been in business two years or more, employs at least two people and reports more than $150,000 in annual revenue. That company also must operate in a market that could support more than $1 million in yearly sales.

Up to 15 entrepreneurs will be selected for the program’s next class, its seventh. ScaleUP! Kansas City is based at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Innovation Center and receives support from the Kauffman Foundation. More than 90 local entrepreneurs have participated in ScaleUP! since it launched a few years ago.
