Bennett Packaging Celebrates 30 Years by Thanking Team Members

Bennett Packaging kicked off its 30th anniversary celebration with an employee-recognition event last week at Main Event in Independence.

“We are very proud of how far we have come over the past 30 years,” said Kathy Bennett, who owns the Lee’s Summit business with her husband, Doug.

“We started out as a plain brown box plant, to now producing high-graphic printed retail displays and distributing to major retailers for major brands throughout the U.S. We could not have done it without the amazing teams here at Bennett, therefore we wanted to thank them for their hard work.”

Bennett produces custom corrugate packaging and displays, from design to distribution.

During the party, some of Bennett’s longest-serving staffers told stories about how the company has changed over the years. And each worker was given a backpack bearing the Bennett logo – and the day off!

“It’s not easy to shut down a manufacturing facility, but we knew that was the only way to get all three shifts together at one time,” Kathy Bennett said. “It was important to us for us all to celebrate together.”
