Fishtech Group is unveiling a new cybersecurity solution and welcoming a new chief information security officer to oversee it.

Eric Foster, previously of Netsmart and RiskIQ, will take responsibility for CYDERES, Fishtech Group’s new machine-learning-powered security-as-a-service offering. Customers will have access to technology, proven processes and human experts that will quickly identify and resolve threats.

“CYDERES was built to address systemic industry challenges, including a critical lack of skilled security resources, a general shortcoming of cohesion between various point products, and the continued escalation in pace and scope of security breaches,” said Gary Fish, Fishtech’s CEO and founder.

CYDERES’s platform gathers information from all the different IT security tools a company might be using and puts that information into a single place, making it easier for human analysts to take action.

“Through CYDERES, we are enabling security teams to focus on delivering value to the business instead of chasing events,” Foster said. “We’ve assembled a world-class team of InfoSec experts, SOC operators, security researchers and customer success leaders.
