Swimwear and clothing designer Five Clothes LLC has named Barbara Stubbendieck as its new CEO. The company does business under the brand Helen Jon.

The 18-employee company was founded by Gwyn Prentice in 2012. Prentice will remain as a managing member and creative director.

Stubbendieck has been a member of the company’s executive team for the last three years, most recently as CFO. During that time, she was responsible for marketing, accounting, customer service and shipping for the company. Prior to joining Helen Jon, Stubbendieck owned a manufacturing consulting firm, and she also spent 10 years at ConAgra Foods.

The company’s corporate headquarters are in Lenexa, Kansas. The company’s line of swimwear, resortwear, activewear and accessories are manufactured in Los Angeles. The collections are available on the company website and at retailers throughout North America, Europe and the Caribbean, including hundreds of resorts.
