Kansas City NAWBO to Host Women’s Business Summit

The Kansas City Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO)  host its first annual summit “A Taste for Business” on September 28 at The Culinary Center of Kansas City.

The summit will include networking with women business owners, a flash demo with The Culinary Center’s chefs, educational sessions, a chat with a Nell Hills owner Mary Carol Garrity and a cocktail reception.

Each educational session is 45 minutes, with 30 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes for questions from the audience.

Jenni Kulzer, owner of Cherry Marketing, will lead the marketing session. Marilyn Bush, Bank of America, will present the finance session, and the business development session will be offered by Mary Cravets.

Thinking Bigger Business Media president and former NAWBO National president Kelly Scanlon will moderate the conversation with Nell Hills owner Mary Carol Garrity to round out the program.

The event will conclude with a cocktail hour.
