Don’t forget to file — annual business license applications and payments for Kansas City, Mo., companies are due March 1.

New businesses or existing companies that are changing location, name or legal structure are required to complete a registration application.

The city’s electronic filing and payment option is called Quick Tax. Businesses that prefer paper forms and instructions can find them online under the tax forms link. Paper applications can be mailed to the Business License Section at 1118 Oak St., Kansas City, Mo., 64106, or faxed to (816) 513-1264.

Failure to file and pay by March 1 will result in the city assessing penalties and interest.
