Like a Travel Agent for Your Golf Clubs

When he founded CaddyX in 2013, Jason Gregory was determined to offer a better way for golfers traveling by air to transport their clubs.

“We don’t ship golf bags,” Gregory said. “We deliver the ultimate hassle-free, lug-free and risk-free experience from doorway to fairway. When a golfer uses CaddyX for his clubs, the only time he touches them is when he’s on the course.”

Unlike typical golf bag shippers, which can require golfers to self-pack and drop off their clubs for shipping, CaddyX picks up a golfer’s clubs on demand. Golfers don’t see their clubs again until they reach their destination at a country club’s golf pro shop.

Gregory got the idea for CaddyX when his golf bag was lost during a flight. When the bag was found two days later, the clubs were damaged.

“But since you sign a waiver at the airport saying they’re not responsible, they just kind of leave you out in the cold,” Gregory said.
“I thought there had to be a better way.”

CaddyX currently has relationships with 50 country club golf pro shops in more than 20 states, with another 100 shops in the pipeline.
