The Kansas City GCI Micro-grant program is accepting applications from small and medium-sized Kansas City area exporters who are eligible for reimbursement of export-related expenses.The program will reimburse companies up to $5,000 for expenses related to improving the applicant’s ability to access global markets, such as marketing, translation services, market access programs, market research and staff export training.

Examples of ineligible expenses include employee payroll, donations, infrastructure or equipment, meals and entertainment or any expenses unrelated to the funded activity.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all funds are exhausted, but the submission deadline is June 30. To be eligible, applicants must have fewer than 500 employees and be located in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
