30-second spot will promote willitbeyou.com entrepreneurship website.
The Kauffman Foundation plans to air a 30-second public service announcement about entrepreneurship during the Super Bowl on Feb. 5.
The commercial will refer viewers to a Kauffman website, willitbeyou.com, that includes links to Kauffman FastTrac, Global Entrepreneurship Week, Startup Weekend and other resources. The piece promotes entrepreneurs as world changers and job creators, and it encourages audience members to think about becoming entrepreneurs themselves.
“The next great entrepreneur is out there,” the voiceover says. “Will it be you?”
The spot — done in the style of the Foundation’s “Sketchbook” animations — will be broadcast in four television markets: Kansas City, New York City, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
"As jobs and the economy take center stage this election year, the Kauffman Foundation wants both policymakers and the public to be aware of the importance of entrepreneurs to solving our economic crisis," said Wendy Guillies, Kauffman’s vice president of communications.
"The most-watched television event of the year is the ideal opportunity for Kauffman to inspire entrepreneurs and, in the spirit of Super Bowl advertising, to do so in a fun and accessible manner."
For those who can’t wait until Sunday, the PSA is available on YouTube now.
