Justine PETERSEN, a St. Louis-based nonprofit, operates a microloan program for small businesses in the Kansas City region. Loan amounts are between $500 and $50,000 with most in the $8,000 to $10,000 range. The program seeks to assist companies that may not have access to traditional bank loans.
