The Roasterie recently released a mobile app for iOS and Android devices that allows on-the-go customers to choose a café, browse menu items and favorites, order and pre-pay. Customers also have a convenient way to shop The Roasterie store, access a tailored brewing guide and earn rewards with a loyalty card.
The coffee roasting company chose to partner with AVAI Mobile and use its platform to sidestep the significant time and money that from-scratch mobile app development involves.
“It was important that we deliver the same convenience and value to customers as other large coffee roasters and cafes, but we had to find a different path to get the same result,” said Danny O’Neill, founder of The Roasterie. “I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”
The AVAI Mobile Platform enables The Roasterie to create a business-oriented user experience, add third-party technologies like point-of-sale (POS) and loyalty systems, and then manage a mobile strategy after the initial app launch. AVAI developed the app over a four-month period.
