ScaleUP! Kansas City has announced its fourth cohort of 17 companies which will take part in its program. The program aims to help Kansas City entrepreneurs and small businesses grow to $1 million in revenue.
This next group of small businesses represent a wide range of industries in Kansas City, from architecture to manufacturing, to healthcare and more.
ScaleUP! works with Kansas City entrepreneurs that need the support to rise to the next level.
“Building a business is hard and lonely work and business owners spend a lot of time working IN their businesses, but rarely have the time or resources to work ON their businesses,” said Jill Meyer, program director of ScaleUP! KC. “ScaleUP! KC gives them that perspective and gives us a chance to provide mentoring and training to these businesses that are so key to our economic growth.”
The U.S. Small Business Administration will continue funding ScaleUp! Kansas City for another two cohorts, which means up to 30 more area businesses will get the opportunity to strategically build growth.
This cohort’s 17 companies will take part in an intensive curriculum of coaching and peer-mentoring over the next four months to help them position their company for growth. Here’s a list of the participating businesses:
