Small Changes Big Shifts: Beautiful Bodies – It’s Time to Take a Deeper Look

Did you know that 50 percent of 3–6-year-olds worry about being fat? That fact along with the national obsession with body image led Dr. Laura Eickman PsyD to found and develop the Rebel Peer Education Program in 2008.REbeL, is a student-driven, peer education program designed to address body image issues and disordered eating. REbeL focuses on educating, training and empowering youth. Selected students are trained as peer educators. Rebel’s programming is designed to educate and empower students so they don’t become part of these statistics. DR. Eickman will discuss how RebeL is driving change and making a difference.

Also joining Dr. Robin is Gloria Rudd is with the CHAT SERIES an initiative of Bishop McCann.  THE CHAT SERIES will showcase three incredible speakers, well known for their careers but will speak to the changes they are making in the world through their advocacies.
