Hispanic Business Expo Set for Nov. 12 in Olathe

A free expo designed to help Hispanic small businesses will take place Nov. 12 in Olathe.

Participants in the Hispanic Business Expo will be able to attend a series of educational sessions. Topics will include QuickBooks, tax rules for small businesses, marketing, branding, social media, government contracting and more.

Each workshop will be offered in English and Spanish. Organizers are planning to offer information that will help both new and established companies.

The expo will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Johnson County Administrative Building, 115 S. Cherry St. in Olathe. To register, visit this website.

The event is a joint project of the Kansas Department of Commerce, the Olathe Latino Coalition and the Kansas Hispanic & Latino American Affairs Commission.
