When it comes to planning special events, Moxi Events provides a little extra pizzazz.
Founded in 2008 by Laura VanZante and Emily McNulty, Moxi is a boutique corporate event-planning company that specializes in meetings, conferences, incentive programs and special events. Its services include destination selection, budget management, logistical planning and on-site troubleshooting.
Moxi is a certified Women-Owned Small Business through the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Its creative staff, which consists of seven veteran event-planners, has planned a collective 1,000 events across the globe. The business has expanded with offices in St. Louis and Nashville.
What sets Moxi apart, VanZante said, is the company’s commitment to quality.
“The standard for service is the driving force behind Moxi Events,” VanZante said. “(Our) team is filled with some of the greatest creative minds in the industry, but the level of service we provide is truly what makes us unique.”
One of the ways the business cements this caliber of customer service is through providing a consistent account management team through every step of the event-planning process. Moxi’s employees plan a program and execute it on-site, ensuring that everything goes smoothly throughout the process.
Moxi’s community involvement includes its participation in mentor programs for high school and college students and the opportunities it provides for college internships. Recently, Kansas State University awarded VanZante as the Executive Mentor of the Year.
