Phoenix Renovation and Restoration has just acquired Brown Restoration and Remodeling of Raymore.

Phoenix, which is based in Overland Park, works with clients throughout the Kansas City metro area and Lake of the Ozarks. It’s best known for its insurance restoration services, helping residential and commercial customers to fix flood, fire and storm damage.

Brown, which was founded in 1995 by Lloyd Brown, will change its name to Brown Remodeling and Restoration, to show that it will focus more on residential remodeling.

Phoenix opened for business in 1999 and now employs 45 full- and part-time employees. The company is co-owned by Mark Heinze and Pat Murphy. It is a past winner of Thinking Bigger Business Media’s 25 Under 25® Awards.
