Overland Park-based Phone Medic has a new chief executive officer, Christine Ricci.
Phone Medic operates eight Kansas City-area stores that offer smartphone repairs, sales of pre-owned devices and other services. The company will soon open its ninth location at 119th and Strang Line Road in Olathe. The privately held company opened for business in 2013.

Ricci has held leadership positions at Cerner, Sprint and B.E. Smith. Most recently, she was the chief marketing officer and senior vice president for client services at ECCO Select.
