Alight Analytics CEO Will Present at Data-Driven Marketing Forum in NYC

Matt Hertig, the CEO of Alight Analytics, has been invited to speak at a first-of-its-kind, sold-out event for marketers on Feb. 23 in New York City. He will be presenting insights into data-driven marketing along with Elissa Fink, the chief marketing officer of Tableau Software, an industry leader in business intelligence.

They will share advice on how major brands and advertising agencies can leverage data to create more powerful, more effective marketing.

Hertig, an international speaker on the marketing analytics industry, noted that although there are many insights hiding inside the average brand’s media data, many marketers don’t know how to discover them. “Our talk will deliver real, actionable advice for doing just that,” he said.

The presentation in New York is just the latest example of the growing partnership between Tableau and Alight Analytics.

Tableau is the creator of a visual analytics tool that professionals use in a range of industries to produce reports and dashboards. It complements Alight Analytic’s data aggregation solution, so the two companies have teamed on various sales and marketing efforts.

Alight Analytics invented ChannelMix, a marketing and media data aggregation engine designed for advertising agencies and major brands. Marketers use ChannelMix to automatically collect, consolidate and unify massive amounts of data from their web analytics, pay-per-click, social media, TV, radio and other channels. ChannelMix also spots outliers and errors in the raw data, so that marketers receive the most accurate picture of how their campaigns are performing. Users can then take that perfected marketing data and, with Tableau, create dashboards and reports.

“By leveraging Tableau and ChannelMix together, marketers can uncover opportunities and threats faster and easily share those insights with their clients and stakeholders,” Hertig said.

Alight Analytics was named a 25 Under 25 winner in 2014 by Thinking Bigger Business.
