Skyline Displays Heartland has hired Beau McMillan as a print production and sign installer and David Miller as a project manager. Miller previously worked for Bushnell as a retail store lead. McMillan’s background includes works as a freelance illustrator and a bachelor’s degree in fine art from Savannah College of Art and Design.

Skyline Displays Heartland has rebranded itself as Skyline E3, which stands for exhibits, events and environments. The new name better reflects the company’s expertise not just in exhibits, but in all facets of face-to-face marketing.

New COO at k12itc
Local technology company k12itc has hired Mick Fenley to be its new chief operation officer—the company’s first COO, in fact. Fenley was the associate vice president of business solutions for Kansas City Southern Railway, and his background includes time as a director at YRC Freight and on the board of directors at Community America Credit Union.

InnovaPrep Embarks on European Deal
InnovaPrep has a new distribution partnership that will allow the company’s products to be sold in several European countries. Its partners, I&L Biosystems GmbH and its sister companies, specialize in selling lab equipment like InnovaPrep’s concentrating pipette.

Affinis Wins Award for OP Road Project
Affinis Corp. has won an Engineering Excellence Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Kansas. The firm was recognized for its work on improvements to 159th Street in Overland Park.

Evolytics’ Sleeper Hit

Validity Compliance Director Earns New Certification

Harmon Joins Miller Nichols Library Renovation
Harmon Construction was part of a renovation project at the Miller Nichols Library at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. The firm helped refurbish the building’s third floor, which will have added space for the University Archive and special collections.
