MAGLCC Metzler Mentor Program

Applications open for Metzler Mentor Program from Mid-America Gay and Lesbian Chamber

Applications are now open for the next class of the C. Stephen Metzler Mentor Program, a leadership development initiative from the Mid-America Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

Up-and-coming leaders will be paired with a mentor and introduced to professional and community networks. It’s a two-year commitment. To apply, visit this website.

The application deadline is Dec. 15. Aspiring protégés need to have two to seven years of professional experience, and that can include time spent in professional or graduate programs.

They must also have proven their commitment to civic engagement, community service and the LGBT community. And they’ll be expected to pay a $250 fee and be a member in good standing of the Mid-America Gay and Lesbian Chamber.

The program is named for the late entrepreneur C. Stephen Metzler, who died in 2015 and was a founding board member of the chamber. Metzler was the co-owner of Metzler Bros. Insurance and a 25 Under 25® alumnus.
