Local technology company ABPathfinder has acquired another business and changed its name to Pathfinder Health Innovations.
ABPathfinder has created a cloud-based software solution that helps autism therapists better track their clients’ progress on practicing skills. A University of Kansas study found that ABPathfinder led to students acquiring skills 20 percent faster than usual.
And now the company owns Ensure Billing, an Arizona company that specializes in scheduling, billing and insurance reimbursement for autism therapy. The deal happened on Feb. 1 and was announced at the California Association for Behavioral Analysts’ western regional conference last week.
Thinking Bigger Business featured ABPathfinder as a cover story last year, and you can read that articel here. The company is a past winner of the 25 Under 25® Award, and CEO Jeff Blackwood is an alumnus of the Pipeline Entrepreneurial Fellowship.
