Investors are invited to rebuild Kansas City’s culture at the newly announced GUILDit, an art village at the multi-industry Plexpod Wesport Coworking Building. The plans include coworking, studios, a theatre and a gallery for 1,281 art entrepreneurs, 63,350 art students and audience members.
The project came to fruition when the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce that the arts have had “the greatest downturn and will have the longest recovery.”
GUILDit is lead by founder and executive director, Susana Bruhn.
“The arts have had great growth in Kansas City, and we can do it again. In just a few years, with a few key moves, artists can take off again.” Bruhn said.
