Two accountants at accounting firm MarksNelson have won spots in the Kansas Society of CPAs’ “20 Up to 40” Leadership Program.
Over the next year, Michael Herber and Matt Schulte (right) will be included in classes, networking sessions and other events throughout the state. The goal is to help develop accounting professionals under the age of 40.
“We are proud that Michael and Matt have been selected for participation in ‘20 Up to 40’ as we believe both of these emerging leaders will grow from their experiences in the program,” said Mark Radetic, managing member of MarksNelson. “They are extremely hard-working and appreciated by their clients, and we are excited about this opportunity for them.”
Herber (right) is a supervisor at MarksNelson, assisting more than 100 clients. Schulte is an audit supervisor who works with small and medium-size companies. This is the seventh year for “20 Up to 40.”
“I am honored to have been chosen to participate in this leadership program,” Herber said. “I look forward to strengthening my leadership skills, and work with some of the best CPAs in our state.”
