Apply Now for UMKC E-Scholars’ Next Cohort

The Regnier Institute at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is taking applications now for the next round of its Entrepreneurship Scholars (E-Scholars) program for up-and-coming companies.

That next cohort will begin work on Jan. 28. Entrepreneurs selected for E-Scholars will attend a series of 14 workshops over the span of two semesters. The workshops are held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays. (Can’t make the January cutoff? Another round of E-Scholars starts in September.)

In addition to the workshops, E-Scholars are able to connect with mentors and experts in a variety of fields. Past participants include the teams behind LendingStandard, Mobility Designed, Integrated Roadways and more.

The program is open to UMKC students, but members of the general community can apply, too. The cost for them to take part is $500. (The normal cost of $6,000 is subsidized by several foundations.) Applicants must be able to attend and participate in each of the 14 sessions.
