Business and community leaders are invited to celebrate the life and influence of Kansas City entrepreneur Teri Rogers.
A celebration of life for Rogers, founder and CEO of Hint, will take place from 5-10 p.m. April 27 at Hint, 1906 Wyandotte St., Kansas City, Mo. RSVPs are requested. Rogers, 67, died April 27.
Rogers founded Hint (previously Take 2 Productions/T2) in 1990 as a creative content firm. It worked with brands including Sprint, LinkedIn, Puma and Uber. Hint was acquired in 2017 by DEG.
“DEG was just a small portion of her storied career, yet we benefited tremendously from her leadership, influence, and entrepreneurial spirit. We are all better off for having Teri in our lives, both as an agency and as individuals,” DEG CEO Neal Sharma said.
Rogers earned numerous business accolades. Her firm was named in 2005 as a 25 Under 25 Award honoree by Thinking Bigger Business Media; she was honored as Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration and as a Woman Who Means Business and one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Kansas City, both by the Kansas City Business Journal.
She also served on boards including the Film Commission of Greater Kansas City, Crossroads Community Association, ArtsKC, KC Streetcar Authority and American Advertising Federation—Kansas City. She was recognized as an Urban Hero by the Downtown Council of Kansas City.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Teri Rogers Fund at ArtsKC or Wayside Waifs.
Rogers is survived by her husband of 21 years, Martin Mini; her siblings; two children and their spouses; and four grandchildren.
