Diebel’s Sportsmens Gallery on the Country Club Plaza will host its second annual Kansas City Cigar Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 6. The outdoor event will be in the Granada lot, around the corner from Diebel’s at 426 Ward Parkway.
Hundreds of cigar fans are expected to sample products and hobnob with representatives from 17 premium cigar and cigar accessory manufacturers. The company is celebrating its 60th anniversary.
“If you love cigars, this is the place to be,” Diebel’s President Curt Diebel said in a release. “You can learn about new lines, find new favorites and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow cigar enthusiasts.”
The high-end stogie shindig will include live music, spirits from Dark Horse Distillery, wine from Cooper’s Hawk Winery, beer from O’Dowd’s Little Dublin and lunch from the Blue Moose Truck.
You must be at least 18 to attend. Tickets cost $125 (general admission) and $225 (VIP), and include a souvenir bag of 16 to 32 cigars.
