EAG Advertising & Marketing claimed a couple of handfuls of awards at the recent Business Marketing Association’s 2017 Fountain Awards celebration.
EAG won eight Fountain Awards and one Certificate of Merit at this year’s event held on May 15 at Boulevard Brewing Company.
Judges select the best B2B marketing work across several categories, including print advertising, business identity, integrated multimedia campaign, public relations, digital marketing and more . Judging criteria is based on creative, production, objective/strategy and results.
Paul Weber, EAG’s chief strategy officer, said the recognition is especially important because because the entries are judged on strategy and results, not just aesthetics.
“Having our creative work awarded thanks to EAG’s talent, both past and present, is rewarding, but each award emphasizes what we promise to our clients: how something looks isn’t as valuable as the end results,” Weber said.
“. . . Submitting entries to the annual Fountain Awards is a way to measure how well we’re performing for our clients,” said Michele Markham, BMA board member and EAG president.

- Event Marketing—Traffic-Generating: Bryant Dealer Recruitment
- Public Relations—Reputation/Crisis/Brand Management: SKS Studio
The firm picked up a certificate of merit for a product brochure for Commenco.
