Missouri University of Science and Technology has created an entrepreneurial education program for those interested in generating ideas, devices, processes or other intellectual activities.
Missouri S&T is first to host an Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Site program in the state. Funded by the National Science Foundation, I-Corps was created to provide business and technical information to rising entrepreneurs and technological innovators.
For more than four weeks, participants can gather valuable details from three-hour evening sessions one night per week. Participants are not required to have any previous experience with entrepreneurship nor in business to apply.
I-Corps is hosting one of the free workshops at iWerx, 1520 Clay St. in North Kansas City. The workshops will run from 4-7 p.m. Wednesdays, from Feb. 20 to March 12.
