Google is looking for Kansas City small businesses willing to test its high-speed Fiber service.
Only a “limited number” of businesses will be part of a pilot project that will launch in the coming months. For some time now, Google has mentioned that it was interested in eventually offering business service, but until now, it has focused on recruiting residential customers.
(Of course, small businesses have found a way to get access to Fiber when they really want it. Several startups relocated to houses near Westport and State Line roads so they could be among the first to get Fiber service.)
Google will be asking the first Fiber businesses to provide open feedback about how the service works. Interested companies should fill out this online questionnaire on their IT needs, company size and more by April 25.
