Local design shop Hint has just added another powerful resource to its arsenal of services.
The Crossroads-based company is embarking on a partnership with Nice Shoes, an agency that’s famous for color grading services for video work.
Hint’s office now has a special color-calibrated monitor that, with Nice Shoes’ proprietary software, allows clients in Kansas City to work with Nice Shoes’ off-site artists. The company is headquartered in New York and has offices in Chicago and Minneapolis.
“Technology has made it possible—and we believe that the needs of our clients will be better served if they can have quality color grading and other finishing services right here in KC, without the costs and disruption of traveling,” said Teri Rogers, Hint’s CEO. “Now, the artists at Nice Shoes will become an integrated part of their total post production experience with the benefits of lower costs and a broader talent pool.”
Hint and Nice Shoes plan to host a celebration on March 24 at Hint’s offices.
“When we launched this service, it was to meet the needs of clients who previously would travel to New York to work with us,” said Justin Pandolfino, Nice Shoes’ managing director. “We’ve built a great foothold with that starting point, but now we have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with those clients as well as with new ones. This partnership is not just about convenience, but about uniting talent that has never worked together before, which I hope will spark new creativity between both companies.”
