iModules Acquires Campus-Life Software Company

Leawood’s iModules Software has acquired OrgSync, a company whose software-as-a-service helps colleges and universities organize events, student organizations and other parts of campus life.

The company could be a good match for iModules, whose software helps schools manage their alumni and donor relationships.

“With the addition of OrgSync’s expertise and software platform in community management, iModules is uniquely positioned as a full life cycle constituent engagement platform—from the time a student steps on campus to well past graduation,” said Fred Weiss, president and CEO of iModules.

“This acquisition provides us the unique ability to serve higher education institutions in a broader capacity and address their key challenges. Our goal is to improve student engagement and retention, help universities meet ever-increasing accreditation standards and utilize data to drive more successful fundraising activities.”

There are no immediate plans to combine the two platforms, and iModules said there is no plan to change any of the management.

OrgSync, which launched in 2007, is based in Dallas. Its software is employed at more than 450 campuses and has more than 5 million users.

Founded in 2002, iModules has more than 800 clients, who use the company’s platform to reach more than 107 million donors, alumni and other constituents.
