Two of Kansas City’s best-loved food brands are teaming up for a new barbecue sauce.
Joe’s Kansas City Whiskey Bar-B-Que Sauce mixes Joe’s original sauce with the taste of J. Rieger & Co.’s whiskey.
“There are few things that go together better than barbecue and whiskey,” said Jeff Stehney, founder of Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que. “We admire and respect J. Rieger and their revival of this great Kansas City brand and of Kansas City’s distilling tradition. It’s been fun working with them to create this truly exceptional whiskey barbecue sauce.”
The first bottles, available for a limited time, go on sale on Dec. 1 at:
