Startup co-founders can apply to participate in Kansas City NEXT, a concentrated five-week entrepreneurial program that works with early-stage teams to achieve the best fit for their product in the marketplace.
Participants who are selected for the program will meet 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays from April 21 to May 19 at the Sprint Accelerator, 210 W. 19th Terrace in Kansas City, Mo. Applications open April 15. Deadline for applications is April 21. Early bird registration is $200.
With coaching and mentor feedback, Kansas City NEXT will help teams:
- Confirm a problem and customer sector through persistent customer detection.
- Enhance understanding of customer development to find the greatest product/market fit.
- Grow a network of experts and other founders.
Kansas City NEXT is organized locally by Diana Kander, a senior fellow at the Kauffman Foundation and author of the forthcoming business novel, “All In Startup.” Program mentors include Jeremy Smith, director of product development at H&R Block; Ryan Felton, vice president, technology and product at BLiNQ Media; and Bek Abdullayev, founder @SuperDispatch.
