Several local business executives are in the running for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

The national awards program is in its 30^th year of highlighting entrepreneurs who have built thriving companies across the country.

The local honorees will be saluted during a gala on June 16 at the Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland here. The EY winners from the Central Midwest region will then advance to the national awards competition in November in Palm Desert, Calif.
