Accounting firm RubinBrown LLP has just promoted two of its team members to partner status.

CPAs Chester Moyer and Suzy Kimbrough officially became partners in RubinBrown on June 1. Moyer has been with RubinBrown since 2003; Kimbrough joined in 2013.

Kimbrough has more than 20 years of accounting experience, and she’s assisted not-for-profits, businesses and individual clients. She also helps as a budget counselor at Hillcrest Transitional Housing.

“Suzy’s tax expertise, drive and initiative accelerated her to join our team of partners,” said Todd Pleimann, CPA, managing partner at RubinBrown’s Kansas City office. “Her consistent successes, and contributions to her clients and our team, make her deserving of her advancement.”

Moyer specializes in audit and attestation for manufacturing and distribution companies, the public sector and other industries. He’s part of the firm’s assurance services group.
