Some of Kansas City’s best chefs and butchers are set to take part in Knife & Pork, a new pork-based event from the Local Pig, a butcher shop and charcuterie. It’s set for Sept. 27 in the city’s East Bottoms.
Attendees will be able to sample pork fixed by experts from bluestem, Justus Drugstore, Port Fonda and other restaurants. There will also be demonstrations of butchering, lessons on prep technique and more. The day will end with a pig roast, live music and beer from Free State Brewing Company.
