Ernst & Young is taking applications now through March 14 for its annual Entrepreneur of the Year competition, one of the nation’s best-known business honors.
Information and application materials can be found through this website.
Nominees must either own or manage a company and be primarily responsible for its performance. It doesn’t matter if the company is public or private, but nominees must have been an active member of the company’s top management for two years or more.
The company itself must be at least three years old for most categories, though there is an Emerging category for businesses between two and five years old.
Nominees will be judged on their company’s financial performance, leadership, community involvement and other qualities. EOY winners will be named at the regional and national level.
