Accounting and consulting firm MarksNelson has been ranked as the country’s 15th-fastest-growing business of its kind, according to industry publication Accounting Today.
The past year was a busy one for the firm, which incorporated two other businesses, Community Edge and Marsh and Company. The additions specialize in location strategy, site selection and related topics.
MarksNelson also was named the 16th largest accounting firm in a seven-state region that includes Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. This is the second year in a row that MarksNelson has appeared on the list; it was the only KC-headquartered firm to do so.
