Nominations are now open for next spring’s National Small Business Week Awards, presented every year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The public can nominate their favorite entrepreneurs for Small Business Person of the Year and Small Business Exporter of the Year. Several other honors will be presented during the 2018 celebration, which will run April 29 to May 5.
You can get nomination forms at www.sba.gov/nsbw/awards. The deadline is 3 p.m. Jan. 9, 2018. Applications must be hand-delivered or mailed to the SBA’s Kansas City district office. Because the completed forms include personal information, email isn’t allowed. (Contact information for the Kansas City SBA office can be found here.)
