The Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce paid tribute to the winners of its annual business awards at its annual gala. It was held on Nov. 21 at the Overland Park Marriott.
This year’s winners include:
Small Business of the Year: Turning Point Home Solutions, a Prairie Village business that buys, rehabs and sells homes in Johnson County.
New Business of the Year: Buggies Pest Control, a Prairie Village pest-control company owned by Evan and Meghan Whitefield.
Volunteer of the Year: Cindy Heckman, co-owner of the Village Flower Company in Prairie Village.
Corporate Business of the Year: University of Kansas Medical Center.
