Parnell Plans to Add 32 New Jobs at OP Headquarters

Animal health firm Parnell has announced plans to create 32 new jobs and enlarge its global headquarters in Overland Park.

From “meow” to “moo,” the company offers pharmaceuticals and technology solutions in 14 countries to improve the health of companion and production animals.

“Parnell is very excited to be able to continue its expansion in Kansas …” said Robert Joseph, president and CEO of Parnell, in a release. “Our new team members will support our future companion animal product launches and the continued growth of our reproductive hormone portfolio.”

Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George said: “As a key part of the Animal Health Corridor, Kansas has emerged as a leader in the biosciences. Parnell’s decision to expand its headquarters and invest in Overland Park is great news for this growing, important sector of our economy.”

Parnell moved to Overland Park in 2012. This year, the company intends to increase its number of U.S. employees to 95, while deeply investing in digital technology for animal owners and veterinarians. The company has seven new drugs in development.
