Report: Wrestling Entrepreneur Linda McMahon Could Be Next SBA Chief

Linda McMahon, the co-founder of the WWE pro wrestling company, has been nominated to serve as the new administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, according to media reports.

With her husband, Vince, McMahon helped grow WWE from a small business to one of the biggest entertainment brands in the United States. She left the company in 2009 to unsuccessfully run for the U.S. Senate.

The McMahons and President-elect Donald Trump are longtime friends. Trump is actually a member of the WWE Hall of Fame.

If confirmed, McMahon will succeed Maria Contreras-Sweet as the head of the SBA.
