Overland Park’s Rx Savings Solutions has just landed another major client, right here in Kansas City.

The Mid-America Coalition on Health Care will now offer Rx Savings Solutions’ platform to its members, who include more than 60 of the largest employers and health care organizations in the metro area.

“Our organization is committed to identifying and delivering solutions that improve health outcomes, while containing health care costs,” said V. Troy Ross, president of MACHC.

“Collaborating with Rx Savings Solutions naturally aligns with those goals and provides a needed solution to combating rising prescription drug costs—a problem that challenges many of our organizations and their members.”

Rx Savings Solutions, which was featured on the February cover of Thinking Bigger Business magazine, is one of the city’s best new companies. Pharmacist Michael Rea developed its platform as a way to help customers find the best possible price on their prescription medications. Some of the company’s biggest clients include the State of Kansas Employee Health Plan and BH Media Group, which is a Berkshire Hathaway company.

“As prescription drugs prices continue to skyrocket, it’s important for people to be aware of the cost-saving options that are available to them,” Rea said. “By partnering with MACHC, we are offering valuable education resources and a solution to rising costs that deliver proven savings for both employers and employees.”
