Is your small business ready for a productivity makeover?
“BizClips: The Small Business Productivity Makeover Video Contest” invites small businesses to make a brief video about how their company can be helped by a productivity makeover and advice from SCORE, mentors to American small business.
The contest is sponsored by Brother International Corporation, a provider of office technology products, and is part of SCORE’s 50th anniversary honoring the 10 million small businesses it has supported since 1964.
Contest prizes include Brother products and services, a professionally made promotional business video and national publicity.
“This is a chance for small businesses to showcase themselves in front of a national audience,” SCORE CEO Ken Yancey said in a release. “Not only is it a chance for the winner to become more productive through the makeover, but SCORE wants to help all small businesses access resources and information to help them be more successful.”
Videos can be uncomplicated or intricate in showing how a business can be improved and strengthened, but they must be 30 to 60 seconds in length and received by midnight on Feb. 24, 2014. The public can vote on their favorite video in April 2014, and a panel of small business experts will pick a grand prize winner who will receive $2,500 in Brother products and services, as well as the opportunity to attend the SCORE Awards Gala in September 2014.
