Applications are open now through Aug. 20 for the second annual Pure Pitch Rally, a pitch contest with awards of up to $20,000 at stake.
Eight entrepreneurs will be selected to compete in the Pure Pitch Rally, which will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 11 at Helix Architecture + Design in Kansas City, Missouri. (Attendance at the event is by invitation only — organizers are promising an audience of local CEOs and tech leaders.)
Interested companies can submit their applications at this website. The chosen presenters will be announced later in August.
Pitches will be judged by a panel of 20 executives, who’ve each agreed to give $1,000 to the competitor of their choice. The winner of the People’s Choice will take home a funding prize, too.
The Pure Pitch Rally is timed to the start of Techweek Kansas City. Karen Fenaroli, CEO of Fenaroli & Associates, is the driving force behind the program. Sponsors include BKD, Real Media, Polsinelli, Coffee Lunch Coffee, Circle Sideways, the Kansas City Area Development Council, Morningstar Communications and Project United Knowledge.
