SEED Law to Offer Pro Bono Hours at Local Business Centers

Local businesses and entrepreneurs can now seek free legal counsel from SEED Law LLC. The entrepreneurial law firm has introduced a community office hours initiative this January that provides pro bono services to help encourage more sustainable business practices in the Kansas City area.

SEED Law will be setting up shop at a variety of rotating locations around the metro every Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 5 p.m. Business professionals and entrepreneurs do not need an appointment to meet with a trusted counsel for advice. SEED Law encourages interested parties to engage in the conversation or ask questions about entrepreneurship and business law on social media by using the hashtag #SEEDOfficeHours.

“The exciting thing is that we can help serve local businesses of any size or at any stage with these new community office hours,” managing partner Adrienne Haynes said. She also wants to help boost other lawyers’ involvement in the community saying, “If I can inspire more lawyers to be active in the entrepreneurial community, that would be wonderful.”

The locations for the Community Office Hours are as follows: Think Big Coworking, the Blue Hills Contractor Incubator, Kansas City Start Up Village, the Historic Lincoln Building, the Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce, Northeast Chamber of Commerce, Cowork Waldo, the Midcontinent Public Library Riverside Branch, Enterprise Center of Johnson County, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City. You can view the quarterly office hours location on SEED’s website.
