Snow & Company, a local bar that’s been celebrated nationally for its frozen cocktails, has opened a new location at 504 N.E. 70th St. in Gladstone.
The Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Feb. 12 for the business, which held a grand opening in late January. Snow & Company continues to operate its original location at 1815 Wyandotte St. in downtown Kansas City, Mo.
Snow & Company first opened in late 2011, and it’s quickly become a favorite with local startups and the Crossroads neighborhood in general. Last year, the bar won the Aspirational Entrepreneur Award, which is presented to a younger company, during the Greater Kansas City Chamber’s Small Business Celebration. And it was awarded $40,000 in a “dream restaurant” contest run by Tundra Restaurant Supply. Paste magazine listed Snow & Company as the top frozen-cocktail bar in the country.
