To support its continued expansion, Kansas City’s SourceLink has hired Dara Macan as its new director of business development.

SourceLink strengthens entrepreneurial communities by providing research and development. It already has networks in more than 20 regions across the county, but wants to keep building.

Macan will help identify international communities that could be a good fit for SourceLink’s services. Part of her job will be connecting entrepreneurs with on-the-ground resources to help them succeed.

SourceLink Founder Maria Meyers said the team wants to keep the momentum rolling from recent launches in Baltimore and Puerto Rico, and Macan will be a key part of that.

“I look forward to bringing the right people to the table who can help local communities build stronger communities and energize entrepreneurial ecosystems,” Macan said.
