SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza will expand to Warrensburg with a restaurant on the University of Central Missouri campus.

The eatery, scheduled to open in August 2015, will be located at 116 W. South St. in a new 185,000-square-foot, mixed-use project that will include student housing and retail. The other commercial tenants will be a Starbucks, a convenience store and a university store.

“SPIN! Pizza is an exciting new partner in the creation of a living and learning center on our campus that will be part of taking learning to a greater degree,” UCM President Charles Ambrose said. “It’s the type of gathering place our students will enjoy, but it’s also the kind of enterprise that will make UCM a destination spot for members of the Warrensburg community.”

SPIN! operates six other restaurants in the Kansas City area, and it is expanding to the West Coast through a franchising operation.
