The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce has released its list of the top 10 finalists for this year’s Mr. K Award.
The Mr. K title—named after Ewing Marion Kauffman and given to the city’s best small business—will be presented May 25 at the Small Business Awards Luncheon at the Kansas City Convention Center, 301 W. 13th St. in Kansas City, Mo. AOL co-founder Steve Case will be the featured speaker.
This year’s finalists include:

- Lead Bank of Kansas City, Mo., and Lee’s Summit // An independent bank with more than 90 years of serving entrepreneurs
- Posty Cards of Kansas City, Mo. // High-quality greeting cards for businesses, with a focus on sustainability
- Veracity Consulting of Lenexa // A leading provider of IT consulting services
- Weave Gotcha Covered! of Kansas City, Mo. // The in-demand provider of stylish, customized window treatments and fabric furnishings
The leaders of each company will be featured at the Greater KC Chamber’s Top 10 CEO Panel Breakfast on May 4 at the Sheraton Crown Center Hotel, 2345 McGee St. in Kansas City, Mo.
